Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Plain-language summary: You give us the health data and photos you choose to log; we use them to power the app and its AI features. We never sell your data, and we never use your photos for advertising or to train AI models. Your health logs and progress photos are private to you. You can export or permanently delete everything — including your account — at any time.

Important Medical Disclaimer

Trimm is a tracking and education tool — not a medical device and not a source of medical advice. The data you log is used to give you a picture of your own progress. It is not reviewed by clinicians and must not be relied upon for medical decision-making. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical guidance.

1. Who We Are and What This Covers

Trimm is operated by I Lov Guitars Inc.("Trimm", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Trimm website at www.trimm-app.com and the Trimmmobile app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. What We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account details — your email address, display name, and authentication method (email, Google, or Apple sign-in).
  • Health logs you enter — weight, GLP-1 doses and titration, meals and macros, body measurements, side effects, water intake, mood and journal entries, strength sessions, goals, and reminders you set.
  • Photos and images you upload — progress photos and meal photos you choose to add. See Section 4 for exactly how these are handled.
  • Community content — any posts you choose to share in the Trimm community.
  • Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as device type and operating system, app version, IP address, in-app interactions, and crash and diagnostic logs, used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, personalize, and maintain the Trimm Service.
  • Power AI features (see Sections 4 and 5).
  • Send transactional emails (account events, refill and dose reminders, weekly recaps) and push notifications you have opted into.
  • Generate anonymized, aggregate cohort insights shown within the app. Individual data is never exposed to other users.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, respond to support requests, and protect against fraud and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Photos and Image Data

Photos are entirely optional. You choose whether to upload them, and you can delete them at any time. We treat them with particular care.

What we collect. If you use the progress-photo or meal-photo features, we collect the images you upload. On mobile, the app requests access to your camera and photo library only to let you capture or select these images; we do not scan your photo library otherwise.

How we use them.Progress photos are used to build your private photo timeline and, only when you explicitly choose a feature that uses them, for AI body-composition analysis and the optional "future you" image preview. Meal photos are used to estimate calories and macros. We only ever use your photos to deliver the specific feature you requested.

Storage. Photos are stored in a private storage bucket on Supabase and are accessible only to your authenticated account. They are private by default and are never shown to other users.

What we never do. We never sell your photos, never use them for advertising, and never use them to train AI models. When a photo is sent to an AI provider to power a feature you requested, it is processed under API terms that do not permit your content to be used to train their models.

Your control. You can delete any individual photo, or all of your photos, from within the app at any time. Deleting your account removes your photos. Once deleted, a photo cannot be recovered.

5. AI Processing — Gemini and OpenAI

Several features in Trimm are powered by third-party AI models. To deliver these features, only the data necessary for that feature is sent to the relevant provider:

  • Google Gemini powers the Mochi AI chat assistant, meal photo scanning, weekly recap generation, and automatic community moderation. Your chat messages, food photos, log summaries, and community posts may be sent to Google to generate these responses.
  • OpenAIpowers progress-photo body-composition analysis and the "future you" image generation feature. Progress photos you submit for these features are sent to OpenAI for processing.

AI features are optional and clearly labeled in the app. We use these providers' APIs under terms that do not permit your content to be used to train their models. Use of these features is also governed by Google's and OpenAI's respective privacy policies.

6. Where Data Is Stored

Your account data, health logs, and photos are stored securely on Supabase, which provides our database and file-storage infrastructure. Photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only to your authenticated account. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate; by using the Service you consent to this processing.

7. Our Service Processors

In addition to the AI providers described above, we work with the following third-party processors:

  • Supabase — database, account authentication, and file storage.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor (or by Apple / Google for in-app purchases) and are never stored by Trimm.
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — transactional email delivery.
  • Web and mobile push providers — delivery of push notifications you have opted into.
  • Apple App Store and Google Play — distribution and in-app purchases for the mobile app.

Each processor handles data only as needed to perform its function for us, and is bound by its own privacy commitments.

8. We Do Not Sell Your Data

Trimm does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, health data, or photos to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not share your data with advertising networks.

9. Community Content

If you choose to post in the Trimm community, your posts are anonymous — your name and account details are not attached to them. Posts are automatically moderated before appearing, and you can report content or block users at any time. Cohort insights derived from community and log data are shown only as anonymized aggregates; individual data is never surfaced.

10. Mobile App Permissions

The Trimm mobile app may request the following device permissions, each only to deliver a feature you use:

  • Camera and photo library — to capture or select progress photos and meal photos.
  • Notifications — to send the dose, refill, and daily-log reminders you opt into.

You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. Trimm does not request access to your contacts, precise location, microphone, or health-app data, and does not use the App Tracking Transparency identifier for advertising.

11. Your Rights — Export, Delete, and Access

You have meaningful control over your data:

  • Export — download all your logs as CSV files from Settings at any time.
  • Delete — delete your account from Settings. This permanently removes your personal data, health logs, photos, chat history, and community posts from our systems, subject to the limited retention described in Section 13.
  • Access and correction — your data is visible to and editable by you directly in the app. For further requests, contact us at the email below.

12. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security in our database, and private storage buckets for photos. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

13. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, health logs, and photos. We may retain aggregated, non-identifiable data, and certain records required by law (such as transaction records), for a longer period.

14. Cookies and Sessions

Trimm uses session cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

15. Children

Trimm is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
