Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Trimm is operated by I Lov Guitars Inc.. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Trimm website at www.trimm-app.com and the Trimmmobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

Trimm is intended for adults aged 18 and older. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to create an account or use the Service.

3. Description of the Service

Trimm is a personal tracking and education application designed to help adults on GLP-1 medication (and those pursuing weight loss more broadly) log and understand their progress. Features include weight and body-measurement logging, GLP-1 dose tracking, meal and macro logging, side-effect tracking, mood journaling, progress photos, strength-session logging, hydration tracking, reminders, AI chat with Mochi, meal photo scanning, progress-photo analysis, weekly AI recaps, and an anonymous community. Education articles and quizzes are provided for informational purposes only.

4. Accounts and Your Responsibilities

You may sign in with your email address, a Google account, or an Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trial, Billing and Cancellation

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using Trimm. Current pricing is always shown at the time of purchase and may change.

Subscriptions purchased on the web are managed through our billing provider (RevenueCat). Subscriptions purchased through the mobile app are billed by, and managed through, the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to those stores' terms. You can cancel at any time — on the web from the Settings page, or for in-app purchases through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

6. Your Content and the Licence You Grant Us

"Your Content" means everything you add to the Service — your health logs, measurements, journal entries, progress photos, meal photos, and community posts. You own Your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.

To operate the Service, you grant Trimm a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display back to you, and — only where you use a feature that requires it — transmit Your Content to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, sending a photo to an AI provider so it can power the analysis you requested). This licence exists solely to provide and improve the Service for you and ends when you delete the relevant content or your account.

We will never sell Your Content, use your photos for advertising, or use Your Content to train AI models. Community posts are covered additionally by Section 7.

7. Community Rules and Objectionable Content

Trimm includes an anonymous community where you may share wins, questions, and updates. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, discriminatory, deceptive about medical treatments, or otherwise harmful.

To keep the community safe, Trimm provides the following safeguards:

• All posts are automatically filtered and moderated before they become visible.
• You can report any post or user, and you can block users so you no longer see their content.
• We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including removing content and ejecting the responsible user — within 24 hours.

You retain ownership of your community posts, but by posting you grant Trimm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that post within the Service. Community content is user-generated; Trimm does not verify its accuracy and it must never be treated as medical advice.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Trimm. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
• Impersonating another person or providing false information.
• Uploading content you do not have the right to share, or that depicts or contains another person without their consent.
• Using the AI features to generate or distribute misinformation about medications or health.

9. AI Features and Generated Content

Some features use artificial intelligence — including the Mochi chat assistant, meal photo scanning, progress-photo analysis, and the "future you" image preview. AI output is an automated estimate, not a fact, prediction, or guarantee. The "future you" image in particular is an illustrative visualisation, not a forecast of your actual results. Always apply your own judgement and consult a healthcare professional for anything health-related. You may not present Trimm's AI-generated content as professional or medical advice.

10. Intellectual Property

Trimm, the Mochi mascot, all educational content, quizzes, software, and all other materials produced by Trimm are the property of I Lov Guitars Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Trimm content without prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Trimm relies on third-party providers to deliver its features, including Google Gemini and OpenAI (AI features), Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), RevenueCat (billing), Amazon Web Services (transactional email), push-notification services, and the Apple App Store and Google Play (mobile distribution and in-app purchases). Your use of these underlying services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or availability of third-party services.

12. Apple App Store and Google Play Terms

The following additional terms apply when you download or use the Trimm mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

• These terms are between you and I Lov Guitars Inc. only, not with Apple or Google. The app store provider is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your licence to use the app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on Apple- or Google-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the applicable App Store or Google Play terms and usage rules.
• The app store provider has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a relevant government embargo, and that you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• By making in-app purchases, you consent to us sharing data about your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple where necessary to help Apple resolve refund requests, in compliance with Apple's policies.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings, which deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — including the community rules in Section 7 — with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that AI output will be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I Lov Guitars Inc. and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or within the app. Your continued use of Trimm after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
